The rest of the planet is on it's knees in prayer!
Remind everyone that after 9/11 worldwide public sympathy and support for the U.S. was staggering.
    Today it's only Tony Blair.
It takes a special kind of Politician to erode that kind of support.

    Good Luck in your plotting.

What are the chances of Tom appearing on Jools Holland, Jools normally attracts the talent. We here in dublin are effectively hitting our second Famine, in wait of a concert from Tom. We know he comes here on holiday to see the ole' sod now and again, but please Mr Waits, if ye'r out there, feed us, were hungry.

Can't understand Tom doing this, this show looks about as no-brained as it gets for music tv.

Like the previous poster said, Jools Holland's show is about the only half decent music show we have left here in the UK, allthough that show records on a set night so I would guess that to be the reason, but really, This seems such a wasted opportunity for a second show in London.

  6. I cast my vote for Kerry today, along with a whole van-load of people I drove down. *crosses fingers*

Yes, if any of you wonderful UK kiddies get ahold of Tom's appearance and post the file I'll be very thankful.

an excellent tribute to chris blackwell, waits did a pre-recorded version of a song I sadly do not know(or was it that I drank too much wine watching such a crap show for two hours...). Just the man with an acoustic guitar filmed it what seems to be his studio. most similar thing would have to be the video of him doing bronx lullaby.
