John Hammond covers Waits

Tension & Release is a dvd documenting the 2003 Springing the Blues Festival in Jacksonville, FL. One of the artists featured, is John Hammond, who sings a Tom Waits tune. I haven't been able to work out which tune, so any help is welcome.

UPDATE: the John Hammond Band apparently does a version of Buzz Fledder John.

Last year at the Mississippi Valley Blues Fest here in Davenport, Iowa, I had the fortune of hearing the Blind Boys of Alabama performing "Down in the Hole". And later on between bands over the PA system I heard what sounded like Bob Dillon covering "Clap Hands".

It would appear that the song in question is 'Buzz Fledderjohn'

John Hammond put out an album called Wicked Grin thats just his covers of Waits songs. The disc is pretty good as a whole, with 'Buzz Fledderjohn' being my favored track. Though of course Hammond is not Waits.

Ok Jarlath... It's Fledderjohn. not Fledder John. Please get it right as I am related to that crazy woman (by marriage)
