According to articles in the Pioneer Press (registration required) and the Star Tribune, Tom Waits dropped out of the movie Prairie Home Companion. The Star Tribune claims this might have been due to a conflict between filming and a touring schedule, but as far as Waits goes, there are currently no live dates set.
