According to
Moviecitynews.com, the Brian McNelis movie
East of Sunset is released on dvd this week. The release contains a
soundtrack which features recordings of Waits' earlier (1971-1980) songs by various local bands. The official site doesn't mention this, but the dvd and accompanying cd are up on
Amazon.
Heh, you're a bit more harsh than I am. Yeah, I wouldn't willfully watch the movie a second time, but it picked up to decency in the latter half, I think, at least for an indie film.
