PEN award for Waits and Brennan

According to the San Diego Tribune, Tom Waits and Kathleen Brennan will receive a PEN New England’s Song Lyrics of Literary Excellence Award, The award has previously been presented to Chuck Berry, Randy Newman, Kris Kristofferson and Leonard Cohen.
