Nice to see Tom embracing the internet for a change. He looks a bit more invigorated than we've seen him of late.
I guess we just have to keep checking for the European tour. Boo.

  4. so, as someone who has never bought tickets to a tom waits show... how do we know when the tickets go on sale?

  5. I'm with cappa. How do I get tickets to any US date?

    Have Tom addiction. Will travel.

  6. I should have known not to get my hopes up for a northeastern date. This just sucks. Looks like I'm gonna have to travel 9 hours west to Columbus.

I second that...how do we get tickets?

  7. For a man that writes so much about trainsm I wonder if he's aware that Phoenix and Columbus are the two largest cities without public rail transport...

  8. For tickets, just contact the venue for more information. I'm going to the St. Louis show and the Fox Theatre here deals exclusively with MetroTix.

Tom Waits in my own backyard...I'm KING OF THE WORLD!!

  9. What happened to the August dates that were announced a couple of months ago?

  10. No Chicago date, but hey St. Louis is only 4 hours away. Any idea of how much a ticket may go for?

  11. travis, how did you get those tickets? I called MetroTix and they said they don't have any information on when tickets will be released.

  12. Alex, I don;t think Travis has any tickets. The Fox Theater hasn't even listed a Tom Waits date on their site yet.

No, tickets will have a genuine on sale date. This was merely the hype announcement. Keep checking this blog, AND tomwaits.com, and ticket on sale dates will be revealed.

  22. Does anybody think he might follow up this tour with some new material? Glitter and Doom would make a great title.

    ReplyDelete
  23. Yes!

So are these all of the final dates? Meaning no Chicago?

That's fine by me, just a lil road trip, but I'd like to know whether to hold off or not.

A little confused. I can't believe this tour is in support of Ms. Johannson's cover album!?

Wouldn't it be incredible if Waits would acknowledge the east coast or Canada? You know, a real "North American" tour, for once?
