If anyone has a ticket for any of the shows in europe that they would part with for within 125% of the face value plus charges, I would love to get an email about it. Jamesdouglasschneider@gmail.com . I've tried for each of the european shows and been totally unsuccessful in each attempt. Thanks.
I'm sorry, guys, I won't part with my ticket for anything at this point. In fact, I'm still astonished I managed to get one; the Carré site just didn't work for me, and the phone line was occupied all the way from 9 AM to 11.30 when I gave up trying. I nearly gave up ticketmaster.nl as well, when suddenly a 1st Ring ticket popped up at about 11.30, which I snipped up. It came out to 106 Eur, but at that point I just didn't care (nor do now). But otherwise I thought the Carré sellout just as bad as the London one--I was nearing desperation again. I'm sorry for those who couldn't get tickets; apparently it depends nearly entirely on your luck. Lamorak (Hungary)
Friends in Amsterdam got me one ticket for November, 21. The problem is, I can only be in Holland on the 19th or, better still, the 20th. Do you think I can somehow change the dates - or swap ticks with someone?
(I had 2 ticks for a Waits show in Warsaw back in 2000 and couldn't use them. I swore I'd see him play the next time he is in Europe so I'd really hate to miss it this time, too)
Hi everyone. Before the sale started people at Carré told me that the best way to purchase tickets was by phone or by internet. I chose to stand in line in front of the ticket office instead. I have now two first rate tickets (won't sell them for a hundred grand). I Can safely say that waiting in line is THE BEST way to get tickets. All phonelines were dead from about 9.00 to 11.00. Internet didn't work either. And from reading the posts on this site, this was the case for all the concerts in Europe.
Ofcourse I know that a lot of you don't have the luxury like me to live in a city where Mr. Waits performs. However... If you ever have the chance to purchase tickets for one of his concerts this way... go for it. If you are early enough, you're bound to get tickets.
Well... just my 2 cents.

P.S. I LOVE this site. Great info. Very up-to-date. Keep up the good work.
I stood in line. And still didn't get a ticket. But I've been bitching enough about this now. Gotta hurry up and make them black-market babies rich. See ya later, Ruuntje
Yes, I've got a Sunday ticket and I can't be in Amsterdam on the 21st (see above). Friday night would be really nice. Email me at apoivre at gmail dot com Alex
