Ithaca (NY) singer Margaret Wakely recorded a cover of I never talk to strangers on her new CD, Perfect Strangers. The album consists of pairs of songs that complemented each other. The Waits cover is paired with her own original tune, Don't go to strangers. Wakeley's CD was produced by Warren Hartman.
