On June 14, there will be a book launch party for Innocent When You Dream: The Tom Waits Reader at the KGB Bar (New York City). Editor Mac Montandon will be present and the public can can join a win-a-book Waits trivia hour or enjoy a "Jockey Full of Bourbon" drink special.
The book can be pre-ordered at Powells.

I know it will not be as complete as the Tom Waits Supplement BUT it will be in book form which is nice and handy for Luddites like myself. Give me a nice book to hold and read rather than reading from a computer screen.

As far as I know, I have an article I wrote in this book - so, please, don't be too hard on it!
I'm sure it's aimed at the more casual Waits fan too, and I was one of those until I got dragged in by some of his magazine interviews. There is so much to be said about this man - who has so much to say - and the overview is bound to be fascinating.
