Katrina benefit to be televised (important update)

From the Big Apple to the Big Easy, the New York benefit concerts will be available live on pay-per-view for 19-dollars-95 in the U.S. Major cable operators will give all proceeds to hurricane relief efforts.

UPDATE: This only concerns the Madison Square Garden show, NOT the Radio City Music Hall event, where Tom Waits will be performing. Sorry for the misleading info.

I can't seem to find any reference to this anywhere on the web. Can you name your source and other details?

There was a story onWBOC (link below), but that seems to be somewhat misleading, as it has now been confirmed (by Waits' management) the show that will be televised is the MSG one, not the Radio City Music Hall event.

The info on the events' website (link below) is misleading as well.

I always try and check everything as good as I can, but in this case that obviously wasn't good enough. Sorry about that.
