UK edition of Innocent when you dream

A UK edition of Mac Montandon's Innocent When You Dream - The TW Reader is due out on January 19th. It has a different cover from the US edition and also a slightly different name; Innocent When You Dream : TW - The Collected Interviews. This Orion publication also appears to have more pages than the US edition: 416 as compared to
394.

The UK edition is available at Amazon.co.uk, the US edition at both Amazon.com and Amazon.co.uk.

UPDATE: The Telegraph has excerpts from some interviews on its website.

As you know, I've mentioned this elsewhere. Maybe it's just a matter of the layout of the book - font, page to print size, pictures etc. I don't want to buy it for nothing more than a different cover.

I've contacted the publisher to request clarification.

Well, when you add in all the extra hyphens (co-operate vs. cooperate) and U's (favourite vs. favorite) you might have added a few extra pages right there... ;-)

Good point, Sarah. I hope, by the way, you enjoyed the new year bash!

Do you mean that somebody saved twentytwo pages through useless spelling and grammer, must be an awful book to read.

This week's Saturday Telegraph has Tom Waits hidden away on its front cover (14th Jan).

He gets a full front cover of its arts & books section...(a3 size approx) great big black & white photo of just his face with the title

"TOM WAITS - MUSIC MAVERICK
In conversation with the rasping iconoclast of rock and roll"

its actually excerpts from the book with what looks like a newish photo.

worth £1.20 in my book!

Excellent - I look forward to seeing The Telegraph piece. I just phoned my stepfather to save his copy for me. :)
