Tom Waits is said to have signed up for one of the leading roles in The Good Heart the next film from Icelandic director Dagur Kari. The movie tells the storie of a homeless young man (Ryan Gosling) who comes under the care of a bar owner recovering from his fifth heart attack. The film will begin shooting in the autumn.
