Following the death of actor Heath Ledger, Variety has an article stating the future of the Terry Gilliam movie The imaginarium of Doctor Parnassus - in which Tom Waits was to play the devil - has been thrown into question following the sudden death of its star Heath Ledger. Hollyscoop goes even further, claiming the production for the movie has been shut down.

Gilliam has to be one of the unluckiest film directors.
