Special edition of Musik & Mythos illlustrations

The illustrations Jurgen Verfaillie and Gabriela Linares made for Musik and Mythos, the German translation of Wild Years: The Music and Myth of Tom Waits by Jay S. Jacobs are now available separately.

They are printed on 350 gr. sheets of Hahnemühe Museum Etching paper (300mm x 240mm) and are fitted into ahandcrafted, wooden box along with a copy of the book and a postcard set of the illustrations.

The number of boxes is limited to 10 and each of them will receive an individual finish that goes in line with the work of the man, making them one of a kind. What the finish will be is a surprise. So you'll only know if you get one.

A box will cost 150 euro a box (excl. shipment). 'Any price below that would be an insult to the illustrators, especially after substracting the manufacturing costs' the people at Stagecraft Entertainment explain the price.

In addition to the 10 boxes, they are also offering three prints of each of the 12 motives individually at 15 euro a piece (excl. shipment) from Monday, December 14th onwards.
The boxes are allocated on a first come, first served basis. If you're interested please contact Tommi Brem at tommi@stagecraftentertainment.com.

If you like the drawings, be sure to check the blog the next few days for another giveaway.

I am pleased to let you all know that we are down to 5 boxes now.

My saw is sharp and I bought higly flammable material for some finishing touches, some nails, screws, a crowbar, some sticky goo that smells rather ugly, a dead pigeon and a handful of tiny persons. This might or might not end up with one of the boxes.
