American businessman and sports executive Tony Khan claims he has bought the rights to the Tom Waits song Ol' 55. The song was used in a tribute to professional wrestler Jonathan (John) Huber, better known as Brodie Lee, who died on December 26, 2020 at the age of 41. In a message on Twitter Khan says he has bought te rights 'in perpetuity' so that tribute 'will last forever'.
Thank you everyone who joined us tonight on #AEWDynamite to celebrate the life of Jon Huber, known to fans as Mr. Brodie Lee. It was a great honor to host his family Amanda, Brodie & Nolan. I bought the rights to Ol’ 55 by Tom Waits in perpetuity so that tribute will last forever
