Showtime

Tom Waits will be amongst the artists performing at From The Big Apple to The Big Easy, a benefit for hurricane Katrina victims on September 20.

Waits will be performing at New York's Radio City Music Hall. Other performers are Dave Matthews, Joss Stone, Trey Anastasio, John Mayer, the Meters, and Galactic with the Mardi Gras Indians. Simon and Garfunkel and Elvis Costello will join the previously announced artists at the Madison Square Garden, who include Elton John, Bette Midler and Lenny Kravitz.

Tickets for the Radio city Music Hall show go on sale on Thursday, September 15 (10 a.m.). Tickets for the Madison Square Garden event go on sale on Tuesday, September 13 (10 a.m.). All tickets will be available through Ticketmaster (212-307-7171). Special packages are also available by calling (212) 465-6133

    Got tickets! I will send the setlist on Tuesday morning. This will my first show since 1998.

    I got tickets too!! I was in the 5th row of the Beacon in 1998, but I couldn't really spring $500 per ticket on these so I'm a little farther back. I'm psyched!

    In the UK so can't make NYC but managed to tip some guys off in the US who got front row seats!!! Jealous or what.

    Still I was lucky enough to get tickets for three European shows last year...
