Orphans limited deluxe

Amazon.co.uk now lists two versions of Orphans: an ,,import'' item at £33.99 and a ,,limited edition box set'' at £23.99. There are no further details available about either of those products.

Amazon.com only has one version available, but does seem to indicate there might be two different releseases, as the product description reads: ,,The beautifully designed booklet reproduces Tom's lyrics in the style of a book of old poetry, with twenty pages of never before seen photos. The whole thing fits perfectly in a regular CD bin. The limited edition deluxe package contains a hardcover-bound 94-page booklet.''

All sites have the same cover art.

Someone broke the law and apparently made an MP3 out of the song 2.19 performed live not so long ago... I hear it and it rocks as much as Fish in the jailhouse does. Tom still rocks, but not often enough.

Mad Libs are fun...

but, aside from that, does anyone know, are ALL the initial releases the "limited edition", or are there simultaneously 2 versions being released in Nov? I would love to pre-order the LmtdEd (especially through Amazon), but without this clarification I fear I'll be preordering the average joe version, and I'll not be lumped in with the ordinary masses like that!

Don't know the answer to that question but gut instinct says get to your nearest record shop to be sure of the real deal.

Question: On the BASTARDS cd tracks 12 and 18, Home I'll Never Be and On The Road...are they two different versions of the same song (As listed on the Tales From The Underground Volume 5)?

unfortunately the "nearest record shop" is probably charging about 15 bucks more than Amz.

To Mahood : I think Home I'll never be (12)is the Kerouac cover and On the road(18) is the poem by Bukowski.

This according to me

There is a discussion on the Amazon.com page for this release about it's "limited" nature. Here. The last comment is by someone going as "ern malley" and being posted as an ANTI comment: The limited edition with the hardbound booklet is the only edition available -- there is no other edition currently for sale. The limited edition is the version that Amazon.com is selling on this page. Hope this solves any potential confusion. ANTI-
