Radio documentary

The Daily Telegraph mentions Simon Schama, a British professor of history and art history at Columbia University, has taken a commission from Radio 4 to make a programm about Tom Waits.
"I knew nothing about Tom Waits. During the attempt to make a television series of Landscape and Memory, we did a programme on seas and laid a Tom Waits version of Sea of Love over the Venice floods. I thought, 'What the hell's that?'"
Schama has previously (December 9, 2006, to be precise) published One from the heart, an essay about Mr. Waits in The Guardian.
