Costello cover Innocent When You Dream

Rhino Records puts out a rerelease of Elvis Costello's Kojak Variety this month. This remastered "deluxe edition" containes a cover of Innocent When You Dream.

Mon Ange soundtrack

Apparently, Tom Waits is writing the soundtrack for the upcoming movie Mon Ange by director Serge Frydman. The release date for the movie, starring Vanessa Paradis, is set for January 2005.

Day After Tomorrow on line

NPR has the song Day After Tomorrow on line on its site.

Vancouver show?

According to the Vancouver website, Tom Waits will be performing at the Vancouver Orpheum on October 15. There is no further confirmation of this show and neither ticket selling organisation Ticketmaster nor promotor House of the Blues has any info on Canadian Waits concerts.

The iTunes Music Store is selling Metropolitan Glide, presumably the first single from the upcoming album Real Gone. If you have iTunes installed, you can listen to a 29 second clip.

Next tour dates announced in September

The next dates for the European tour will be announced in September at the earliest.

First tour dates announced

ANTI- announces Tom Waits will play three shows at Berlin’s Theater Des Westens on Monday 15th, Tuesday 16th and Wednesday 17th November 2004. Tickets for the concerts go on sale on Saturday, 7th August.

These are the first concerts to be announced for an eight-date European tour this autumn. The tour will also include shows in the UK and the Benelux countries. The full details of these concerts, to be played in small and intimate venues, will be announced in the near future.
