I'm seeing him in Jacksonville next week. I could live with any of these setlists.
The one show I heard (Phoenix) - I liked the arrangments.
Definitely looking forward to the show
Fabulous show; I really liked the rework of Black Market Baby--in my opinion, better than the recorded version.
Wow you guys got Shore Leave...
Must have been amazing.
So... I think I have a pretty good idea of what his first song is going to be this coming Saturday...
It was an amazing show.
that's one of the best setlists i've seen from the glitter and doom tour so far! lucky sods!
Tom was great. However, the crowd insisted on shouting inane things in between songs, which became annoying quickly. Have some respect people.
how long are the shows running? what time are they getting out? we are coming from Nashville to the Knoxville show and we need to know for greyhound bus tickets. if it gets out after midnight we either have to hitchhike or sleep at the station because the earliest bus after midnight is at 6am. i'm trying my hardest to find somebody else going, or a car to borrow.
Great set list! The two shows I have been to ran about two hours...8:30-10:30.
One thing that amazed me at the Tulsa show was the number of empty seats. The Columbus show sold out in under 45 seconds. There must have been a minimum of 100+ empty seats at the Brady Theater. OK, they weren't all fabulous seats, but they weren't obstructed view, either. Have any other shows failed to sell out?
St. Louis sure looked sold out. And it was so entirely worth the $200+ I spent on it. The set list was awesome.

I will say that the Brady Theater was a great place to the show!!
all in all ...an event of a lifetime.... what do I do now???
Thank ya Tom
So it's been a few days since I saw the show in Tulsa (Tom Waits in Tulsa--what a dream come true), and I still cannot get the "Hoist That Rag" performance out of my head. It was very put-together. It included the entire band (including the cameo by Tom's son Sullivan on the congas) contributing to the overall undercurrent of battle anticipation. They heaved and turned the world around Wednesday.
