The Rat Cellar, a tented structure

Some more details about the Rat Cellar - the venue for the Dublin shows in Phoenix Park - over at Aiken Promotions: 'The concert will take place in a tented structure in the environs of the Visitor Centre'.

Don't knowabout the rest of you but I'm so looking forward to this that I have to keep remembering to breathe. Hope I can make it as far as Wednesday night, and then the tour finale on Friday. Any word on Paris?, setlists?, good?, great?, brilliant??

Be very careful raindogs... if the tent is near the visitors centre then it`s a hell of a walk from the city centre as this is at the north end of the biggest park in europe. Allow plenty of time to get there... A real silly location in my book....

Perhaps a bus to the gig would be better - I'm surprised that Aiken Promotions who must be making a few euro on this venture haven't indicated bus routes, a map and some other hints as to where and how exactly to get to the gig. As prettyboyfred says Phoenix Park is big. Have a look at http://www.heritageireland.ie/en/Dublin/PhoenixParkVisitorCentre-AshtownCastle/
which gives directions and public transport options for the visitors centre - I'm presuming that the Ashtown Gate is open for access to the gig. Maybe Ryans of Parkgate St should organise a shuttle bus so we can all drink there and then they can drop us up....
