Songs played

How many songs were played during the Glitter and Doom Tour? And how many times were they played? And from which albums did most of those songs come? And from which albums only one song was played? And which shows had the most tour premieres?

I know those are exactly the questions you all lose sleep over, so that is why I've updated my page with all the songs played. And the Glitter and Doom page itself now has links to all the setlists on the blog. The navigation between the three should be easier as well.

Should you see any errors, do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks for taking the time to do this compilations. Only incorrect thing I saw was Frank's Wild Years being assigned to the album of the same name. It was actually on SwordFishTrombones.

Indeed, thanks for doing such a compilation, which carries it own glitter and doom : glitter because I am psyched to have the full set list for the show I heard in Atlanta, and doom because I noticed he did play Christmas Card from a Hooker in Mineapolis (my aboslute favorite) on this tour, but not in Atlanta...

the song he played along with "'till the money runs out" is called "Who's Been Talking?" originally by Howlin' Wolf. I don't yet know how to contact the man who posted the graph with all the songs. if someone could tell him, that would be great. :)

@todd; you are absolutely right of course. I've corrected the mistake.

@bullet313: apparently, "Cause of it all" is the same song as "Who's been talking" - Different releases just have different titles. At least, that is what I'm led to believe after the previous discussion about this song at the time Orphans was released.

Does anyone know any of the music that was playing prior to the Jacksonville show? There was a mix - lots of old time almost rag time sounding stuff but some rather interesting eclectic music as well. Just curious.

I'm wasn't in Jacksonville but in Columbus the pre-show music was the first or second CD from the Anthology of American Folk Music. Well worth investigating as it has 6 cds worth of old-timey music from the 20's and 30's.

It was indeed the "Anthology" or "Harry Smith collection" as it known to some. The music was kind of low where we were, but very distinctive sounding, and WELL worth your time to check out if youlike true "roots" music. This is a GREAT SITE and keep up the good work documenting the tour, looking forward to seeing what the band does over the pond, especially the Dublin shows,Mike M

Are you kidding Shakedown or what "Cold Call Ground"? Don't know if your just messing around or serious, but just to keep it 'Spot on', it is "Cold, Cold Ground".

It was a joke galaxy...it is one of my favorites, and it just seems like everyone is thanking Eyeball and then ripping on some aspect of the Waits tour or on the comments of others...wish everyone had good things to say and would chill out a bit!!!
