Terry Gilliam has to say abot his upcoming movie The imaginarium of Dr. Parnassus, which of course features Tom Waits.

That is going to be a good movie.
As for Tom Waits news, I don't think it was mentioned already, but Paul Westerberg released a two song EP in late August called '3oclockreep' which Tom Waits is on.
The first song is 20 minutes long and breaks down like this:
