Got tix?

It looks like there are still dropping tikcets for several shows. So if you did not get any tickets, I would suggest you keep trying.

Also, have a look at the ANTI blog, which has some additional info on the ticket sales.

And I know you all want to let the world to know you have (not) succeeded in getting tickets. So, go ahead and shout it out in the comments...

Good luck to everyone today..........

You got pit center online? Amazing...good job. I'm in Floor Center R row V seats 2 and 4...which must be on the end since they apparently only have even numbers. Congrats to all...the Tickets Unlimited website is "different" to say the least...but at least it didn't completely crash like in the past.

I got Center R Orchestra row B seats 2 & 4 for Knoxville. I don't see this row on the seating chart - anybody have an idea where these are?

I got center, orchestra, row X... not too shabby. I clicked on it RIGHT at 9 am though, so I wonder how quickly this one sold out.

Anyone ever been to the Knoxville Civic Auditorium? I have row G Right Side and I'm just wondering what sort of line of sight I'll have to the stage.

SweetBlackMagic said...

heat miser...great seats! you're in the right section of the center seats...that's what Center R means...not Right Center. congrats!

left center row p. I'm just happy to have tickets!

SweetBlackMagic said...

still not sold out as of 9:34 EDT, but it's going fast. i actually graduated high school in this auditorium...lol. but i have no idea bout sight lines since i was on the stage. most places like this are very good in terms of not having "bad seats."

Row A Right Balcony, Front Row High, baby! Thanks Eyeball, for this site. These tickets were a b-day gift from my girlfriend, and your site kept her informed of all the changes! See me at the show and I'll buy you a beer, I'll be the one cheering my head off!

;-)

jeff johansson said...

how did you get pit seats? i logged on right at 9, and the best i could get was center right row y... i thought it would sell out quickly and then for shits and giggles checked in 15 minutes later to see if seats were still available, and would have gotten 2 rows better. oh well, he won't have to be seen up close to be loved, i'm sure the voice will fill up the place... can't wait!

koen van driessen said...

i'd love to get the tickets.. seems pretty easy, even from belgium. still not sold out. the only problem is that damn plane :)

Unknown said...

Got tix right at 9:00: Orchestra V-- Gotta make it rain!

Then for yuks, I just went back in @ 9:59, and tix are still available--I'm shocked! Not sold out after an hour? Maybe Knoxville is too remote for some people (we're driving down from Virginia...) but still, after the Orphans tour sold out in minutes, I expected this tour to do the same.

Congrats to all--see you in Knoxville! Thanks, Eyeball--this site is a huge service to Waits Nation.

I got seats in the LOGE A for Columbus. I've wanted to see a concert in the loge for a long time now. I have a lot of friends who work in the theatre industry and they all say that's actually one of the best places to be for a concert in terms of a theatre's acoustics and what-not. On the other hand, every single time I've ever been to Columbus, I've gotten horribly, horribly lost. Oh well, I'll find it somehow. See you guys there!

Got ATL tix at the Fox Theater

ORCH section Row CC (close to centre) about halfway back.

I tried for the $105 highest price tix first, but no dice. Kinda surprised didn't have a chance at those, I was in the tickets purchase right about when it flipped on.

I had a hard time with the scrambled letter crap though. Hate those blasted things.

Still, just glad to join the ranks of those with tickets, and still decent seats to boot.

I live 2 blocks from the Fox, if I couldn't go and I knew Tom was playing two blocks away, I think I'd have to slowly gauge my eyes out.

And to make things more fun he had no money in his account so I had to buy those 2 and couldn't get anything for my other friend who doesn't believe in credit cards or banks and the other who introduced me to Waits who's totally broke... at least I'm going I suppose though it's a 4-6 hour drive

If you are facing the Ohio Theatre...to the left is another building then the street. Make a right on the street and go about 1 business and 1 hole in the wall bar and there is a parking garage that almost touches the Ohio Theatre...

just a little more detail because I was vague earlier...

Not really certain how many cars it holds.

Also...Columbus has the ComFest going on the weekend at Goodale Park which touches downtown on the other side of the Arena District. This is a FREE 3 day festival that is Fvcking awesome. Check that out if you are in town for those days. 5 stages of music, beer, art, it really is a good time and great local and national bands, blues, jazz, avant-garde, etc.

After trying for Columbus, ended up getting Knoxville - long drive from NYC!!

I got tickets for both shows. Wed was sold out but someone must've abandoned their shopping cart cause I got seats.

Phoenix now appears to be sold out. If so, it did it in roughly 4 minutes. Also, I had tickets, but it took them away before my 2 minutes were up. Sadness.

TWO TIX TO PHOENIX, first night!
very difficult. was online and also called ticketmaster 10 minutes before they went on sale to get in the queue. none of my online attempts worked, but as i was talking to the rep, two tickets next to each other were simultaneously released...

12th row Phoenix. Both shows sold out in 4 minutes.

Apparently 5 re-loads was too much...strange, it's never happened for any other show. Well done TM...thank you so much.

I'm traveling from Portland, OR for the show :-D.

St Louis: Orchestra Pit 4, Seat 102. Front row center!

I'd be happy to get together beforehand to anyone going to the show here. Email me!

I'm happy to have the chance to post this here because I've been bursting at the seams for the last few hours. (Everyone I mention it to says, "Who's that?")
I scored 2 front-row center seats to the Tulsa show (section C; row 1)!

My wife and I were each in our separate offices, trying to get 3 tickets to either Phoenix or Tulsa. With the credit card and quantity restrictions I grabbed a second computer and focused on Phoenix, while she tried Tulsa, waiting to hear what I reported. I immediately got 2 Phoenix tickets, bought them, but couldn't get a third using the other account. Anyway, we now have the three tickets we need for Phoenix, but we accidentally also have 2 for Tulsa.

While I understand the ticketless policy is to prevent scalping and ensure fairness, it also forced me to make a decision on two tickets I can't use or return. Which doesn't seem fair either, really.

Has anyone heard anything about returns? I'd happily give up the convenience/service charges to let TM put them back in the system, which hurts no one, costs nothing, is technically feasible, and seems in line with Wait's attempt to make tickets available at face value to as many people as possible.

I know, caveat emptor. But stil...

I'm enjoying the adrenaline rush! Anybody going to the St. Louis concert who wants to meet up, email me at maybe_just_rex@hotmail.com.

Anybody here belong to the old raindog mailing list?

I had three browsers open, synced to NIST...I clicked at 11:59:59 and missed the Tuesday show in Phx. I did however get two to Wednesday - BEST...B-DAY...EVER!

Unknown said...

Real Gone - hope to see you there. My wife and I are coming in from Fayetteville and would not be averse to the idea of getting together with some like-minded people before the show. By the way, as of 3:40 CDT, tickets were still available for the Tulsa show.

Got General Admission tix to dallas, and got 3rd row floor seats for Tulsa. Thanks Eyeball Kid! Your site makes me realize that im not the only one clogging up my brain with Tom Waits.

SweetBlackMagic said...

Definitely DO NOT give up for those cities using Ticket Master...they routinely hold back some tickets and release them as the show date gets closer.

section A 19th row opening night, still dont believe it, flying out from the bay area, any good bars in phoenix to meet up at before the show?

Glad to see so many success stories! I scored far right, row G tickets for Knoxville. Anyone familiar with the Auditorium know if those are decent seats? I can't really get a good sense of the stage in relation to the seats. I know it doesn't matter because I'll be there regardless and I should just shutup and be happy I have tickets at all.

Tulsa . . .

Level One, Section C, Row C, Seats 7 and 8!!!! YEAH!!!

First I could not believe that Tom was actually coming to my town, and now I have tickets dead center in the sixth row! This day could not get any better.

Wait, it can. I will also be going to Dallas!

2 tix for Phoenix (tues.). Section C, Row 22. Not great seats, but I'll be there! Hope the whole paperless system works ok, since I'll be driving 350 miles (from Hollywood)to be there.

Cheers to all who got tickets, scanning the comments it looks like most were treated well...

Thanks EyeBallKid, for all you do...go team!

June 17 Phoenix 5th row balcony.
These were the best available 1 minute after they went on sale! Who wants to meet for drinks before/after the show?

Unknown said...

Still can't believe he's coming to my hometown of El Paso. Got on the phone at 12:58 and snagged two in the 2nd row of the pit (row BBB). Still some balcony tickets available as of 15 minutes ago. If anyone's thinking of traveling to El Paso you won't be disappointed in the beautiful Plaza Theater.

For the 1st time in 20 years, Tom Waits will play Dublin, Ireland this summer, and I will be in Canada.

Good job I managed to get orchestra seats for the Ohio gig! Only a short 12 hour drive from Montreal! :D

Took a day off work to be at my computer at 8 this morning, 10 central, to purchase a St. Louis ticket and scored by 8:06. I figured St. Louis was a good bet because it's a rather large venue with 4300 seats. I really wanted to see one of the Phoenix shows, and get two and perhaps bring a friend who wasn't sure she could make it. No dice as noon passed PDT. By 12:04 I wasn't getting onto the purchase page I needed, but a check back message on Ticketmaster. I'm glad I went with my instincts and pursued a St. Louis ticket. Flying to St. Louis from San Jose on the 25th of June, returning two days later.
Being that I missed opportunities to see Waits in '75 and '77, and didn't know he was at the Bridge Concert until the Monday morning after, it's about time I see the man live!

Bone Machine said...

I opted for balcony seats for the St. Louis show since I have a few ticket irons in the fire at the moment. This will be my fourth Tom Waits show and prior to 1999, that is four more times than I thought I would ever see the man.

I picked up a box seat tonight for Jacksonville. I was initially just going to do Atlanta and Birmingham but just found some friends are flying down from N.H. for that show.

I expected these shows to sell out this morning but apparently there are several seats still out there.

3rd row orchestra pit for Jacksonville. I'm pretty happy about that. I was there RIGHT when they went on sale.

Thanks for keeping everyone posted on all the information. I was following this and Anti-'s blog closely the past week or so.

It sounds like the experience of you guys in the US and Canada was way easier than the situation on the last European tour.

I was lucky enough to get tix for Berlin but it involved various wire transfers to German banks from the UK and a lot of nervous waiting until the tickets were in my hand.

Come on Tom - announce those European dates!!!

AIIEEE!! I got the crappiest seats in Columbus, but who cares, right? Saw him with my pops in 6th row Chi 2001, cried the whole time, ridiculously amazing, etc. So The Hub and I are driving in from Chi (as I see many others are) and would love to hang out with some other raindogs pre/postshow. I keep dreaming about how wicked it would be if he somehow added a Chi show. '06 I was on my honeymoon, and I literally almost rescheduled it. Can't wait for the Waits!

frida,
I used to be on the raindog mailing list, but honestly, I found a lot of people on there to be snotty elitist jerks, so I left. Believe me, I was disappointed, since Tom fans are such a strange and delightful brotherhood, generally speaking.

3 row knoxville. I can't believe Tom is coming here. If anybody has any questions about the Knox Area I would be happy to help. Also, set list predictions?
