Interviews

The Guardian has an interview with Tom Waits on line:

For years, he was the booze-soaked bard of the barstool, the keeper of 'a bad liver and a broken heart'. But Tom Waits was saved by his wife, hasn't had a drink for more than a decade and, at 56, is making the music of his life.

And the print edition of the October 27 issue of The Guardian also had a short piece on the occasion of Orphans (click picture for a bigger version).

Another interview can be found in the October issue of Swedish music magazine Sonic.

The interview was actually in The Guardian's sister paper, The Observer, which is published on Sundays. It was the cover story in the Observer Magazine. Good article. It had me speculating on what was Tom's first 'clean' album. Bone Machine?
