Tom Waits designs t-shirts for Record Store Day

Tom Waits has designed a shirt for Record Store Day.

The shirts (silver, blue, or 'vintage black') with a jumping Tom Waits come in various sizes, and retailers can order them at the RSD website (*). They will be available to the public at participating record stores and on Recordstoreday.com starting on Record Store Day, April 21st.

Mr. Waits also made a poster promoting Record Store Day.

UPDATE: (*) The link I posted earlier was meant for wholesalers only. RSD has notified me orders made by non-participants are being cancelled.

That page is for wholesale orders only. Just got this through:

"There has been an error and you were mistakenly allowed access to that page. The shirts are on offer to participating record stores in the US right now, and can not be shipped directly to customers. This is a wholesale page only. The shirts will be sold, starting on Record Store Day, through participating stores and on our www.recordstoreday.com website.

All orders not made by US participating stores will be cancelled. We apologize for any inconvenience."

@harryfabian: I got the same message. And an e-mail asking me to remove the link from my blog to avoid further confusion.
