Tom Waits' album
Raindogs (
1990 1985) has been awarded a gold album by the
Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) for reaching the number of 500.000 sold albums in the US.
If I'm correct, that would only be the second Waits album going gold in the US:
Orphans was rewarded with that status in 2009 by the
RIAA.

Raindogs 1990? Surly you mean 1985? ;-)
@ingvald: I copied it from the RIAA, which says the album was released in 1990. Should have paid better attention... Thanks.
Didn't Mule Variations sells more than 500,000 albums?
Oh, that was world wide, not soley US sales. Nevermind :)
A very deserving album. Classic Waits.
Mule variations just went gold too. :D
