I have never seen Jon Stewart gush over a guest like he did last nite with Tom. You could tell he was blown away a little. I was a little disapointed they did not hold thru to the end of the song,(Day After Tommorow) before switching to Colbert.
I agree, seems a tad rude to have cut him off during mid song. They should have allowed him more time to perform. I seem to remember them doing the same thing to the White Stripes.
EddieS: I definitely agree with you. Jon is usually pretty calm and composed even with figures such as the Prime Minister of Pakistan or other prominent figures but he was visibly nervous last night. I'm disappointed that they didn't put him on the Seat of Heat. That would've been funny.
